About Naomi Ture
Naomi Ture is an award-winning Creative Director, Producer and filmmaker who crafts powerful visual stories and films that inspire and engage. She founded Illume Films to create value for brands through compelling and authentic storytelling.
Her documentary films have been presented via Warner Brothers, on NBC, at Yerba Buena and festivals and venues worldwide. She has successfully crafted brand, marketing and product videos for entrepreneurs, VCs and game-changing tech companies. Balancing strategy with creativity, her brand films have a proven track record of engaging global audiences.
As a documentary filmmaker, Naomi is currently Producer on an intimate film that follows a woman who was raised in the Unification Church, known for its arranged marriages and mass weddings. In 2016, Naomi’s Global Lives Project film Huyền Lê premiered at NYFF and Lincoln Center as part of a collection of 24-hour-films from 10 countries intended to inspire global empathy. In 2015, she was co-Director of Photography on Dana Nachman & Warner Brother's award-winning movie ‘BATKID BEGINS’.
Before founding Illume Films, Naomi was Senior Producer for KMVT15, a community television station in Silicon Valley. Beginning her digital arts explorations at Brown University, Naomi co-developed pre-operative interactive animation for the Hasbro Children’s Hospital in RI. During graduate studies at iEAR, her artwork included the production of a 5.1 surround sound video for a planetarium and an online exhibit for the Exploratorium called “Step Re-Mix”. Naomi holds a degree in Education Studies from Brown University and a Masters in Electronic Art from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
